My name is Mirna Zakhour, and I founded mearrings with my son. In my small room, I create the charming earrings you see on our website. They're made of polymer clay. I've loved earrings since I was young, and I also wanted to express my creativity while remaining independent.

Ten years ago, I fled Syria to the Netherlands with my children. We sought peace and security. In the photo below, you see my son and me at my first market—one of the many things I fell in love with about the Netherlands.
